Ad Kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla), 02-02-09. After the big storm of some days before, a big influx was seen in the Mediterranean, more than 150 individuals in the area. In teh picture we can see Camil Albert feeding them.

The individual is caspian like sitting on the water but there's no white mirror on P10, the undertail coverts are widely barred and the general structure when sitting in the sand is less caspian looking. Maybe some Caspian genes but maybe only just individual variation.
